design rates affordable for every individual, business, WAHM or
organization looking to establish their web presence.
The 10-Step Design Process
From start to finish, we keep our clients informed of the progrees. We
follow our own 10-step guide to the design process. Breaking it
down, we proceed in the following manner after receiving a quote
request:
- Get to know more about the client and their
business - What are their goals for their business
and what do they want the website to do for them?
Ask any questions from information received on quote
request and discuss options either by e-mail or
phone - client's preference.
- Produce Quote based on information and
discussion. Once quote is approved, we will send a
contract outlining specifics of the quote for client
to sign. A deposit will be requested at the time of
signing.
- Send a questionnaire discussing any specifics
previously not discussed such as colors, themes,
specific links, features and more.
- Begin the design of logo/website depending on
specific needs. Approve logo FIRST if being designed
before proceeding with design of website. Send a
graphical mockup of logo or website within 3
business days of receipt of signed contract. Make
any changes requested by client.
- Once graphical mockup is approved, begin process
of setting up into HTML. Process is completed within
1-2 business days depending on current design load.
- Preview completed web design framework
(template) to client to make any changes or
modifications. Once final approved, move on to
additional requests.
- Complete any additional requests such as input
of text, products, pictures, etc.
- Present for final approval of complete design
and additional requests. Once approved, invoiced for
payment of remaining contract balance due.
- Upload website to client's hosting and provide
any instructions to aid client in maintaining or
editing their website.
- Follow up with client for any questions or
concerns. Remind client of our 30-day policy for
minor changes and edits at no additional charge.
